About us#
TryFast is built and operated by subprocess.eu/company, a small, self-funded software company in Berlin, Germany.
The service is designed, developed and run by one person, Liam van der Viven. The compliance page describes who has access to which systems and data, and the ISMS FAQ answers the usual security questions.
Why we built TryFast#
A/B testing is the honest way to find out whether a change to a website helps: show it to some visitors, keep the original for the others, and compare. The tools that do this well are expensive, load large scripts on every page, and were built before AI agents could help with the work. We built TryFast on these principles:
- Hosted in Germany. Servers in Hetzner's data center in Nuremberg and backups in Germany, run by a company in Berlin under German and EU law, with a short, public list of subprocessors.
- Consent first, data minimal. By default the script waits for your cookie banner and stores nothing before consent. Visitors get a random id that lives at most 390 days, IP addresses are not stored, and visitors on different websites can never be linked. Privacy and consent has the details.
- Fast for your visitors. One request, a script under 12 KB compressed, and changes that reach every visitor within 2 minutes.
- Results you can check any time. Sequential statistics stay valid however often you or your agent look, and every result says in plain words whether it is safe to act on. Statistics explains how.
- Built for AI agents, with you in charge. Your agent can install the snippet, build experiments and read results; launches wait for your approval unless you allow more. See AI agents.
- Honest about limits. Limitations lists what TryFast does not do yet and what no testing tool can avoid.
